Supported Tzu Chi Food Farmacy’s Healthier Me 21-Day Challenge

In conjunction with Chronic Disease Awareness Month in July, SG Diagnostics collaborated with Tzu Chi Food Farmacy and supported its Healthier Me 21-Day Challenge, a lifestyle initiative centred on the Whole Food, Plant-based Diet and designed to improve the three key health markers commonly known as the “3 Highs” — blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar.

Healthier Me 21-Day Challenge 健康挑战21-全蔬食饮食计划

The newest edition of the 21-day programme challenge started from 7 to 28 July, combined complete with guided plant-based meal plans, health talks, professional consultations and educational resources to help participants understand how simple, sustainable dietary changes can positively influence their overall health.

Through this collaboration, SG Diagnostics supported the programme by providing simple health checks before and after the challenge to evaluate participants’ progress, while reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare through community engagement and health education.

The challenge concluded with an event on 31 July 2026 (Friday), where participants returned for their final health assessments.

SG Diagnostics supported the health checks by using the PreciS™-A HbA1c Rapid Analysis System to measure average blood sugar levels and the PreciS™-C Cholesterol Monitoring System to measure cholesterol levels.

By explaining the results and health indicators, we hope to help participants better understand their health numbers and how lifestyle changes can influence these markers over time. Participants were also encouraged to take proactive steps in managing their health and to seek appropriate follow-up care where necessary, reinforcing the importance of early detection and preventive care.

Health Talk: Eat Right — Making Your Cholesterol Management Easier

Following the health screenings, a public health talk was hosted by Zhang Liyuan, an accredited dietitian with the Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association (SNDA). She shared practical nutrition tips as well as real-life examples for helping participants manage their cholesterol and apply healthier eating habits in their everyday lives. The session was highly interactive, with participants actively asking questions and engaging in discussions on healthy eating.

Participants showed encouraging improvements in their health markers after completing the Healthier Me 21-Day Challenge, reflecting the positive impact of guided meal plans and professional guidance. We are honoured to have supported this initiative by working with Tzu Chi Food Farmacy. We remain committed to supporting communities through health checks and initiatives that encourage healthier living.

To continue the conversation beyond the sharing session, we conducted an interview with Liyuan, where she answers some of the most frequently asked questions about cholesterol management:
