SG Diagnostics was pleased to support the Kasih Keluarga, Sihat Bersama (KKSB) Health Carnival, an initiative by M³+@Geylang Serai to uplift health and wellness within the Malay/Muslim community. The carnival brought together residents, partners and volunteers to raise health awareness and encourage greater participation in preventive care.
As part of the carnival, complimentary health checks were offered to encourage residents to take proactive steps towards better health. The screening activities were led by Project VnGuard, a student-led community initiative organised by National University of Singapore (NUS) Pharmacy students. The health checks included height and weight measurements, HbA1c testing, which reflects average blood sugar levels over the past two to three months and blood pressure checks.

We were proud to support this meaningful initiative by providing our PreciSTM-A HbA1c Rapid Analysis System and PreciSTM-B Blood Pressure Monitor to facilitate on-site health checks. These checks provided participants with insights into their key health indicators and created opportunities for conversations about their health, including guidance on appropriate follow-up care.

We are glad to have contributed to the health and well-being of the Malay/Muslim community through this meaning initiative. By supporting student-led initiatives like Project VnGuard, we also hope to encourage students to carry forward their passion for community service and continue making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
