SG Diagnostics was pleased to participate in the 2026 Singapore-China Health and Life Sciences Innovation Summit, held at the SGH Campus in Singapore.
Under the theme “Advancing Clinical Collaboration and Frontier Medical Technologies in the Asia-Pacific”, the Summit brought together leaders from healthcare, research, biotechnology, medical technology, artificial intelligence (AI), investment and policy to exchange perspectives and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Our Founder & CEO, Kate QI, Dr, was invited to join the panel discussion- Singapore-China Collaboration in Reshaping MedTech and Diagnostics. The discussion highlighted how AI is opening new possibilities in healthcare, and how clinical collaboration, research translation and innovation adoption can support the development and validation of healthcare solutions that address shared challenges across the region.
Enhancing Preventive Health and Care Through AI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly adopted, creating opportunities to enhance healthcare through technology by supporting earlier detection, preventive care and more efficient healthcare delivery1. This is particularly relevant as Singapore faces an ageing population and growing healthcare needs.
As AI continues to advance, SG Diagnostics is exploring how these developments can complement diagnostics and healthcare systems, and how advances in AI can be translated into practical healthcare applications. At the same time, responsible use, data privacy, public trust and the security of healthcare systems remain important considerations. By bringing together diagnostics, AI technologies and healthcare needs, we aim to develop practical solutions that contribute to early detection and preventive care.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this Summit and to exchange insights with healthcare leaders. We look forward to continuing these conversations and working with industry partners to explore new opportunities and advance healthcare innovation that supports better care.
