S3P Programme: Supporting Rough Sleepers with Tzu-Chi Foundation Singapore

Group photo with Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore)

On Saturday, 29 March 2025, we supported a community health screening at Yio Chu Kang Chapel in collaboration with Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore), the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) Singaporeand Bless Community Services– a local church group.

Bless Community Services serves as more than a place of prayer and worship. It has launched the Safe Sound Sleeping Places (S3P) programme- a night shelter initiative that welcomes rough sleepers, providing a safe and supportive environment. Since 2019, approximately 270 individuals have benefited from the S3P programme.

Our team conducted blood testing for the participants.

The event provided a heartwarming friendship bazaar and health screening for low-income families and rough sleepers, offering warm meals, clothing and essential health screenings. We felt privileged to contribute by providing diabetes and cholesterol screenings using the PreciSTM– A HbA1c Rapid Analysis System (for diabetes management) and the PreciSTM– C Cholesterol Monitoring System (for cholesterol management). It was a meaningful opportunity to support underserved communities and promote preventive health.

We sincerely thank Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) and all the community partners for the warmth and commitment to the community. We look forward to supporting initiatives that promote health and community well-being.
