Population Health: Our First Malay/Muslim Community Health Screening

2026 began on a meaningful note with our first Malay/Muslim community engagement. We were honored to support Syifa C.A.R.E (Check Already, Rest Easy), a community health screening initiative led by National University of Singapore (NUS).

The event was held at Masjid An-Nur and offered complimentary health checks aimed at screening the community for the “3 Highs” — high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure — as well as height and weight assessments, dementia screening, strength testing, and pharmacist counselling.

Volunteer conducted cholesterol and diabetes screening for participants during the event.

We were proud to support the initiative by providing the PreciS™-A HbA1c Rapid Analysis System for diabetes management and PreciS™-C Cholesterol Monitoring System for cholesterol management.

Beyond the health check, Syifa C.A.R.E programme also focuses on educating the community, encouraging early detection and promoting healthier lifestyles to support long-term community health and wellbeing.

So grateful to work with the NUS pharmacy students, you all brought passion and fresh energy to this event! We look forward to more collaborations that strengthen community health through prevention and education.
