Healthspan Revolution: Beyond Adding Years to Life at SHBC 2026

Living longer is only part of the goal, supporting healthier years of life requires a more proactive approach to healthcare. With this vision in focus, SG Diagnostics participated in the Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC) 2026. With the theme “Healthspan Revolution,” the congress brought together from across the cluster from healthcare professionals to share insights and explore innovations that support better health outcomes.

As part of the Research & Innovation at NHG Health, our Population Health Manager, Jillian Chan, delivered a sharing session titled “Connecting Community Data, Diagnostics and Care: The PreciS Health Management System” at the ‘Pitchstop’ Mini Stage. From her experience in population health, Jillian shared practical insights highlighting challenges observed on the ground from community screening programmes and how the PreciS Health Management System aims to address them. Her presentation explored how we connecting health data, diagnostics and risk detection can support chronic disease management, inform care decisions.

Beyond the sharing session, SG Diagnostics presented our work at the Poster Village @NHG Health, under titled “Community-Based Point-of-Care Testing for HbA1c and Blood Pressure: Impact on Primary Care Uptake and Chronic Disease Detection.” The poster highlighted insights from real-world community screening research data, demonstrating the role of community-based point-of-care testing in identifying chronic disease risks and supporting a shift towards continuity care.

As chronic diseases continue to place growing demands on healthcare systems, bringing preventive care closer to the community can create more opportunities for early risk detection, ongoing monitoring and timely intervention.

The future of healthcare is not only about helping people live longer, but helping them live better. Through our participation at SHBC 2026, we aim to strengthen community-based chronic disease management by bringing together health data, diagnostics and practical approaches that support healthier lives at every stage.
