Every hour, 15 units of blood are needed just to keep up with demand in Singapore. To ensure Singapore has enough for patients, we need to collect a total of 400 units daily1. This constant critical demand is especially vital for those who live with medical conditions, like leukemia, thalassemia, and bleeding disorders, as well as patients who are undergoing major surgeries.
With this critical need in mind, SG Diagnostics initiated a blood donation drive on September 30, 2025. 2025.
